Fish Fry

Ingredients

Smelts-1 lb Cleaned

Chili powder-1tsp

Lemon Juice- 6 tsp

Salt to taste

Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp

Garlic paste- 1 tsp

Turmeric-1/4 tsp

Cumin powder-1/4 tsp

Rice flour- 1/2 cup

Oil- as required to shallow fry the fish or Air fry them

Method:

Mix all the ingredients except rice flour together. Add the cleaned fish to it and gently mix to coat the fish well and set aside for about 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Heat a flat skillet or griddle, now roll each fish in rice flour and keep ready. Now gently add well coated fish on the hot griddle ( turn the heat to medium) and add oil as required to shallow fry the fish. Cook till crisp and golden brown on all sides by carefully turning the fish. Enjoy!!
