Love the smiling satisfied faces of my four year old twins after they devoured this cheesy gooey pizza. They din’t have a clue that it was actually a pizza loaded with veggie goodness.Happy Kids, Super Happy Mommy😊
Ingredients
Cauliflower Florets-2 cups [ steam cooked]
Turmeric-1/4 tsp
Egg-1
Italian Seasoning-1 tsp
Garlic Powder-1/2 tsp
Red Chili Flakes-1/2 tsp
Quinoa Flour-1 tbsp
Parmesan Cheese-1/4 cup [ freshly grated]
Salt to Taste
For Topping
Pizza Sauce- 1/2 cup [I used Organicville Organic pizza Sauce]
Mozzarella Cheese-1 cup [ I love the fresh ones from Wholefoods]
Method
Run the steamed cauliflower florets in the food processor till they look like rice. Now, using a muslin cloth/cheese cloth, strain out all the excess liquid from the cauliflower. Now,add the egg, italian seasoning, turmeric, salt, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, chili flakes and quinoa flour to the cauliflower and knead them together to form a dough.Let it rest for 10 mins.
Preheat the oven to 400 degree. Now line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Roll the pizza dough to your desired consistency [ I like thin crust] and bake it in the oven for 20 mins flipping it once in between. Let it cool and top it with the pizza sauce and grated mozzarella cheese [ In my personal experience, only the fresh ones can be crumbled] and bake it in the oven till the cheese is all melty, gooey and golden brown.
