Mix everything together well and set aside to marinate for an hour. ( I did omit the orange food color usually used when making this recipe)

For Tadka:

Oil-2 table spoon

Green chilis-6 slit

Minced Garlic-1 tspn

Curry leaves-2 sprigs

Onions-1 thinly sliced

Colored peppers-1 cubed

Cilantro-3 table spoon chopped

Chicken 65 powder-1 1/2 table spoon

For Chicken 65 Powder:

Black Pepper-1 tspn

Jeera/Cumin-2 tspn

Sauf/Fennel seeds-3 tspn

Cinnamon-2″

Cloves-4

Dry roast all the spices separately on a low flame and make a fine powder. You can use it according to your spice level.

Method

Heat oil in a pan, add the slit green chili’s, minced garlic and curry leaves and fry till the garlic turn slightly brown.

Add the finely chopped onions and fry till translucent.

Now, add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on high flame for 5 minutes gently mixing it often. Lower the flame to medium, cover and cook till the chicken is almost cooked.

Add the spice powder to it and gently mix to coat all the chicken pieces. Add the cubed pepper pieces to it and cook for 5 minutes [or till the chicken is completely cooked] on a medium low flame and add the chopped cilantro to it.

Chicken 65 is ready to serve. ENJOY!!
