This is such a simple and easy to make recipe loaded with a spicy whole grain goodness. This one going to be a regular in my kitchen for sure. My twins loved it too😋
IngredientsÂ
Puffed Millet- 2 cups
For Seasoning
Olive Oil- 1 tsp
Green Chillies-5
Garlic-3 cloves
Curry Leaves- 1 sprig
Roasted Chickpeas- 1/4 cup
Dry Coconut Slices-1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Method
Gring garlic and green chilie to a coarse paste and set aside.
Heat the oil, add the ground paste and let it crisp up. Now add the curry leaves, roasted chickpeas, coconut slices and salt and mix well for 2 mins. Add the puffed millet ( I used the Arrowhead Mills Natural Puffed Millet,single grain) and fry till the millet puffs up and becomes crispy. Turn off heat and let it cool. Store on an airtight container. Enjoy as a healthy snack.
