Your leftover tandoori/grilled chicken gets a groovy gravy makeover.
Ingredients
Leftover Tandoori Chicken- 8 pieces
Sauf-1/2 tsp
Mint leaves-2 tbsp chopped
Onions-1 big
Tomatoes-2 big
Ginger paste-1/2 tsp
Garlic paste-1 tsp
Red chili powder-1 tsp
Spanish paprika-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Turmeric-1/4 tsp
Almond powder-2 tbsp
Cilantro-2 tbsp chopped
Lemon juice-1 tsp
Oil-2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method
Grind the onions and tomatoes seperately into a fine puree without adding water and keep aside.
Heat oil, add Sauf and let it splutter.Add the chopped mint and fry for a min.Now add onion puree, ginger garlic paste and fry till oil separates. Add the tomato puree and cook till oil seperates.
Add all the powders and salt and fry for 2 mins. Add the tandoori chicken pieces and mix everything till well combined.Add half cup water,cover with lid and let it simmer on low flame for 5-6 six minutes.Turn off heat and garnish with cilantro and lemon juice.
Serve it with rotis/ pooris/chapathis.
