This is one recipe that is enjoyed by people of all ages everywhere. Traditionally the chicken pieces are deep fried, but I wanted to skip the fryer and stick to my oven but keep all the flavors intact. I’m happy to say I did not disappoint coz it was gone in no time. Marination
Chicken Breast- 1.5 lbs cubed
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Ginger paste-1/4 tsp
Garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder-1 tsp
Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Tandoori masala-1 tsp
Turmeric-1/4 tsp
Lemon juice-2 tbsp
Greek yogurt-2 tbsp
Egg white-1 egg
Corn flour-2 tsp
Olive oil-1 tsp
Mix everything till well combined and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Method
Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment and spread the marinated chicken pieces in an even layer and bake it for 18 mins and then flip the pieces and continue to bake for 15 mins or till the chicken pieces are done and set aside.
Seasoning
Oil- 2 tbsp
Curry leaves- 2 sprigs julienne
Crushed ginger-1/2 tsp
Sliced garlic-1 tsp
Green chilis-8 slit lengthwise
Red onion- 1/2 cup cubed
Green bell pepper-1/2 cup cubed
Soy sauce-1/2 tsp
Red chili sauce-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
Green onion-1/4 cup chopped
Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, add the crushed ginger and sliced garlic and sauté for one min.Add the green chilis and curry leaves and fry for a minute. Now, add the cubed onions saute for 2 minutes and then add the cubed bell pepper and salt and fry for one min. Add the soy sauce and red chili sauce to it and fry for one minute. Now, add the baked chicken pieces to it and mix till everything is well combine. Add the chopped green onions to it and gently mix and turn off the flame. ENJOY!
