Baked Tandoori Chicken

Today I’m sharing my absolute favorite chicken recipe. My girls simply love Tandoori Chicken and thus it is a regular in my kitchen. I hope you all love it too…looking forward to your inputs and comments.

Ingredients

Organic Chicken Breasts-2lbs [cut into strips]

Cayenne pepper-1 tsp

Kashmiri chili powder-1 tsp

Ginger paste-1/2 tsp

Garlic paste-1 tsp

Pepper powder-1/2 tsp

Lemon juice-2 tbsp

Olive oil-2 tsp

Sal to taste

Garam masala-1 tsp

Dried mint leaves-1 tsp[crushed]

Greek yogurt-1 tbsp

Turmeric-1/4 tsp

Coriander powder-1/2 tsp

Cumin powder-1/4 tsp

Orange Food color-1 drop[optional]

Method

Clean and rinse the chicken strips and pat them dry.

Mix all the ingredients together till well combined and add it to the chicken strips and let it marinate in the refregirator for at least 3 hrs [ I prefer to leave it overnight]

Line a baking sheet and arrange the chicken strips in an even layer [make sure they don’t overlap] and let it cook at 400 degree preheated oven for 30mins [Make sure to turn them once after 15 mins] then broil them for 2 mins to get that char on top to get that smokey flavor.
